Here is Dr Oscar Serrallach's simple framework for supporting your nervous system, to mindfully do:
Tiny things frequently (20 sec or so)
Glass of water
- Connect with your pet
- Take a deep breath
- Aromatherapy / fragrance
- Hug
- Using bathroom to prompt mindfulness
- Grounding through our feet
Small things daily
Big things once a week
Bigger things once in a while
He also says to have things to look forward to is gold, like always having a holiday booked or as simple as booking a dinner with a friend.
